At a recent presentation at the 101 Leaders Prosperity Seminar Series, Giovanni Livera reminded leaders, “Someday is not a day of the week. Instead of waiting for New Year’s to make a fresh start, make your New Year start tomorrow! Make your current ceiling your floor. Get on top of your potential and reset to an even higher level.”
Optimists don’t wait for Washington politicians to provide the answers or customers to call with orders, they engage in the action imperative by investing any of their worry time into constructive action. They look for opportunity every day and make it a priority to invest in inventing their own future with every choice they make. Where can they make a difference to someone who values the solutions they have to provide. Instead of cutting costs; they look for ways to increase value. Instead of waiting for the New Year, they make the best use of every day.
In difficult economic times, opportunity is still out there. Be one of the leaders searching for profitable side roads instead of being trapped as a follower on a crowded freeway. Yes, the holidays are a time for family and faith, but invest your working hours in planting seeds for your future. Get ready, reset…get moving.
